This is a volunteer position. Commitment varies but it is usually 3* hours a month on active months while we are in programming. Our programming is still in development phases.

We are seeking 1 mental health professional and 3 non-mental health professionals in diverse fields. Must be passionate about mental-health access and reducing stigma, and currently have capacity to be involved.
To maintain appropriate boundaries and avoid actual or perceived conflicts of interest, Advisory Board members may not participate as recipients of Alejandre Foundation programs or services. This restriction also applies to members of their clinical teams and immediate family members.
Advisory Board members are asked to:

Attend scheduled Advisory Board meetings and actively participate in discussions related to the Foundation's current program and community needs.

Review meeting recordings when unable to attend. Members who miss a meeting are expected to watch the recording and remain informed about discussions and decisions.

Provide feedback through shared documents. Members will periodically be asked to review program ideas, materials, or proposed initiatives and contribute comments, recommendations, or questions.

Participate in program decision-making by offering their perspective on proposed programs, community initiatives, and areas of need. This includes editing language and reviewing material.

Bring their professional, community, and/or lived perspective to discussions to help ensure programming is responsive to the communities we serve.

Review materials in a timely manner when feedback is requested between meetings.

Communicate when unable to fulfill a commitment or meet a requested deadline so the team can plan accordingly.

Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive or non-public information shared during Advisory Board meetings and within materials.

Collaborate respectfully with fellow Advisory Board members.

Serve as an ambassador for the Foundation's mission by supporting awareness of its programs and community initiatives when appropriate.
Expected Level of Commitment
This is a light advisory commitment designed to allow members to contribute their expertise and perspective without taking on day-to-day operational responsibilities.
Members are expected to remain engaged by either attending scheduled meetings or reviewing the meeting recording when they cannot attend, and by providing requested feedback on programming and decision-making through shared documents.
