A) Healing in Community (Sanando en Comunidad) starts Oct 19 (Mondays at 4pm PST)

This is a weekly support group for individuals and family members impacted by deportation and the detention of loved ones. Drawing on Internal Family Systems and Structural Family Therapy, members will build compassion for the parts of them carrying grief, fear, and guilt, strengthen family roles disrupted by separation, and learn practical calming resources — including tapping/bilateral stimulation from EMDR — while finding strength in community with others who understand. This is an educational group. Not psychotherapy.  Learn more about this group here.

  • Additional Requirement: Individuals from mixed status families.
  • Group meets weekly at 4pm PST / 7pm EST (1.5 hrs)
  • Facilitated by Cesar Rodriguez

B) 'Latinos Together Strong' starts Oct 21 (Wednesdays at 5:30pm PST)

This is a weekly support group for adult individuals ages 18-25 years old who have had loved ones deported under this administration’s ICE raids. We recognize the many emotions that these traumatic experience can bring up, from grief and sadness, to anger and hopelessness. This will be a safe space where participants can connect and support one another, where all feelings and experiences are valid, and where we will work towards a place of change-making and hope.  Learn more about this group here.

  • Additional Requirements: Must be 18-25 years old and from mixed status families.
  • Individuals coming from mixed-status families welcome
  • Group meets WEEKLY at 5:30pm PST / 8:30pm EST (1.5 hrs)

C) 'We Are Still Here' starts Oct 23 (Fridays at 4:30pm PST):

This is a 6-week group for anyone whose family has been impacted by deportation or detention. It is a space to grieve, be angry, laugh, and remember together with people who actually understand. Each week holds room for both grief and community, because surviving this doesn't mean giving up on joy and connection.  Learn more about this group here.

  • Undocumented Individuals Only
  • Group meets EVERY OTHER WEEK at 4:30pm PST / 7:30pm EST (1.5 hrs)

Group placement will depend on eligibility, group availability, and fit.

The phone consultation is not psychotherapy or a clinical assessment.
